In 2026, both the state of Virginia and Montgomery County will be celebrating their 250th anniversary! Outdoor Recreation and Sports Tourism Asset Inventory
At the beginning of 2024, Blacksburg-Christiansburg-Montgomery County Regional Tourism partnered with Huddle Up Group to do an outdoor recreation and sports tourism asset inventory for the county. The study provided an overall destination score for sports tourism, as well as recommendations for next steps. Click here to read the report.
