“Presenting our annual report to our elected officials is an opportunity to showcase a record year for Montgomery County’s tourism economy,” said Samantha Livesay, executive director of Montgomery County Regional Tourism. “These results reflect collaboration across our communities and partners. This report not only celebrates our success, but sets the foundation for our goals, benchmarks, and strategic growth as we enter the second quarter of fiscal 2026.”
Following a year of record-high visitor spending, overnight stays, and new marketing initiatives, the tourism team proudly presented the positive impact analytics for fiscal 2025, and shared plans for continued growth and development.
The department will present its annual report once more at the Blacksburg Town Council work session on Nov. 18 at 11 a.m.
