Go To Pandapas Pond, Poverty Creek Trail, & Jefferson National Forest

The Poverty Creek Trails are said to be some of the best mountain biking trails on the East Coast! Bring your bike and test your endurance! Pandapas Pond and the Poverty Creek Trails sit on the Eastern Continental Divide where a one-mile wheelchair-accessible trail encircles the pond.

Part of the Jefferson National Forest, the pond is surrounded by nature and is a spectacular spot for easy hiking, picnicking, and fishing.

The adjacent 17-mile Poverty Creek Trail system is perfect for hiking, running, horseback riding, and mountain biking. Parking for cars and horse trailers is available in the upper parking lot and is always free. Go to Town and find your adventure!
